Graduation Time

This year I had several orders of graduation gifts for both high school and college. 

While I really enjoyed working on them, it really brought back memories of my own graduation.  10 years it's been since I turned the tassel after 3 years of hard journalism work at Arizona State University.  A decade has gone by so fast!  Extremely fast.  I remember feeling a little anxious to get my career started.  Now I look back and wonder how did it all zoom past.

This "Enjoy the little things" sign was a gift for a college grad, Ali, who is beginning her professional journalism career.  As i painted the stenciled words, I took the message to heart, reminding myself: time flies. Like Kenny Chesney says "Don't Blink."
