When I started "With Love by Martha" I never imagined I would get to make meaningful pieces that would mean so much to whoever received them. This was one such project that I hope brings happiness and passion to the person who owns it now.

While working on a radio story, I met a wonderful young woman who was volunteering at the Rio Olympics in the summer of 2016. Serena and I stayed in touch and became Facebook friends and that's how she approached me to make her this special project.

This wreath was a silent auction piece for a fundraiser for students at Kay Michelle Lee Studio in North Dakota, a dance studio she co-founded! The wreath is approximately 24 inches, made of white, sparkly tulle, black, white and teal ribbon, 2 dancing figurines, wooden stars and 3 dance theme quotes, including "Dance Like Nobody's Watching" and "I Dance, What's your Superpower."

This was a completely original item. I worked with Serena to incorporate the most important aspects of it, which where, the colors, the dance theme and of course, lots of glitter! Read her review here.

It meant a lot to me to make something that is so unique, special and means so much. In my college years I danced too. I participated in Latin Dance competitions for ASU. Every time I stepped on that floor it made me feel free. I hope this wreaths helps to do just that. Be yourself, and dance your worries away..
