Try Different Things..

Well, it happened again. For weird reasons I still cannot explain I had a lot of trouble with one specific item in a recent project. The order called for transferring color photos onto wood. I had done this before. I use a special product that allows the transfer to work great. I had two photos, 2 pieces of wood. I tried the first one, and it worked great. I tried the second one and it was a disaster. Every time I would peel the paper off it would scratch into the wood and take out the picture. I must have tried 5 different times. I switched pictures, I printed on different computers, I used different types of wood and material. Finally, good old Modge Podge photo transfer did the trick. I hadn't used that one before, after all, the polyurethane satin varnish I'd always used worked the first time. Nevertheless, sometimes you just have to keep trying.. as in life!
